Q2 2024 Android Performance for Top Dinosaur Games in the US

In the competitive world of dinosaur games on Android, the second quarter of 2024 brought some interesting shifts in user engagement and downloads. Data from Sensor Tower gives us a peek into the performance of these titanic titles.

Jurassic World™: The Game experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at $66K and dipping to $40K towards the end of the quarter. Downloads saw a mid-quarter spike with 1.9M in the second week of June, while weekly active users (WAU) reached their zenith at 5.4M in the third week of June.

Jurassic World Alive, another title from Jam City, Inc., showed a similar volatile revenue pattern, starting at $44K and ending the quarter at a low of $25K. The game hit a high of 724K downloads in mid-April and saw its WAU peak at 1.8M in the same period.

Studio Wildcard's ARK: Survival Evolved maintained a steady revenue stream, with a notable increase to $60K in the final week of the quarter. Downloads experienced a gradual decline, starting at 1M in early April and settling at 318K by the quarter's end. The WAU, however, showcased a rise from 1.1M to 2.3M in mid-June, before dropping slightly to 1.9M.

Dinos Online by 1Games, saw no revenue for most of the quarter, with a brief appearance of $33K in mid-May. Downloads remained fairly consistent, ranging from 19K to 62K, and WAUs showed a slight increase from 111K to 136K over the quarter.

Lastly, Crazy Dino Park from Infinite Dreams had an interesting quarter with no revenue reported for the majority of the period. Downloads were steady, with a peak at 251K in late April, and WAUs hovered around 1.8M to 2.1M, demonstrating a stable user base.
